Mary Sarah Bever nee Sneed, Apr 12, 1865-Feb 26, 1875. (dates not right) This would make her 10 yrs old when she married. The last date may be 1895.
This is the sister of my grandmother Emily Emanda Sneed Guthrie. Her stone was located in Roseborough / Beaver / Posey / Tate Cemetery, (This is the same cemetery but known at different times by different names.) Located on old Hwy E, 1/4 mile north of Shoal Creek, north of Granby, MO.
My grandmother's stone had the following:
Emily E Gurthrie, Oct 1, 1852-Oct 31, 1879, daughter of John A Sneed, wife of John Gurthrie.
(On the same stone): Stella Gurthrie, Oct 9, 1879-Dec 20, 1879.
Note: True spelling is Guthrie.
We are looking for Mary Sarah's and Emily Emanda's mother and other family. Her father was John A. Sneed but that is all the information we have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
