I have the same John Bevan and Ann Powis is the family tree I am doing. KNow that they both were convicts and am trying to track down what they did. John was sentenced at Surrey on 25/3/1801 and sent to Australia for 7 years on Coromandel - 13/6/1802. Ann was sentenced in Worcester on 11/3/1815 and came out on Mary Ann on 19/1/1816. They married in 1817 and I have 5 children - John 1828-1900, Henry 1830-1907, Mary Ann 1832-1926, Sarah 1834-1863 & William 1834-1838. Mary Ann is the one that I am following. John died in 1846 and Ann remaried a Henry Green in 1847. The childrens surname is sometimes listed as Bibbin. Any information would be great.
