Coleen: Your Susannah Bevan was the sister of my ancestor Samuel Bevan. She is mentioned in the book "The Bevan Family" by Ardeth Hawthorne. According to the book, she was the 8th & last child of Samuel & Susannah Ewan (Ewing) Carter, born ca. 1769(?). It shows her marriage to John White, son of William & Sarah White, on 15 March 1787. Not much more about her, but good family information. I am looking for more information on her parents, especially Samuel's birth info.
