Hello, Lisa:
Don't see any point of connection with my William and Elizabeth--not yet anyway. Mine are several decades earlier.
I checked on www.freebmd.org for any George Bevan, born first quarter 1860. Four, but none in Wales. There is, however, one Welsh entry for first quarter 1861--Gower district, Glamorganshire. You might try ordering this certificate online from www.gro.gov.uk, with the request that you only want it if parents are William Bevan and Eliza Bevan formerly Williams.
You could do the same with thefirst quarter 1860 entries. You never know--family may have moved before registering baby George.
Unfortunately, Williams is an extremely common Welsh surname, and Bevan is quite common, too (being the Welsh equivalent of "Johnson"). The first names you've mentioned (George, William, John, Elizabeth) are also among the very most common forenames of the era.
You can email me directly (at address given for my name above) if you think we do have a point of connection. Jane
