Mrs. Mary Bevans died at the residence of her son William Jefferson Hildreth, Ukiah, CA. 9 July 1908. She was born in Maryland 13 Nov 1815. Married Joseph A. Bevans 1 Jan 1843. She emigrated to Missouri in 1847. Crossed the plains to California in 1865. She is buried in Russian River Estates Cemetery, Ukiah, Mendocino County, CA.
