Several of us involved in research of the McCArty family are trying to determine the ancestry and anything we can about Elizabeth Bevan who married Joseph Richardson in Pennsylvania ca 1700. We have a source that indicates that her father was John BEvan and mother was BArbara Awbrey and a date of 1683, perhaps the date they came to PA was included (Source The Colonial Society of Pennsylvania). We were unable to establish the children of these people other than those who descended to persons seeking election in the society (about 70 years ago). If anyone can tell us about these Bevans and Richardsons and Aubreys, it would prove immensley helpful to our work on this problem. Thank you.
