Hi, just signing on to do a little research on the Bevan clan.
My great grandfather was a John Abraham Bevan b.1826,
married a Marry Elizabeth Davies b. 1827. We have written information they were married June 12, 1847, Swansea Glamorganshire SW (it was difficult to read the Glam...but I'm close!
I don't know when they came to US, but I do have John's citizenship papers of 1855.
They settled in Western Pa. Belle Vernon area. (Monongahela Valley)
Maybe your John is my John's dad? I don't have anything beyond 1826 as yet.
