Searching for a William BEVAN born abt. 1837 in Merthyr Tydfil,Glamorganshire, Wales married to Elizabeth DAVIS born in June 1839 in Tredegar, Monmouthshire. Married in Merthyr Tydfil.

Came to America in July 1872. Settled in Luzerne Co. PA. They had the following children:

John Bevan?
Walter Bevan?
Reese Bevan born June 8, 1865
Elizabeth Bevan born abt. 1870
David Bevan born abt. 1873
Owen Bevan born abt. 1875
