All I know about the Pfaff is what my mom had in a little booklet that was prepared by Viola Auch, here is what she had:
"I. Johannes Pfaff
Johannes Pfaff was born 1726 at Nordeck, Germany. Died March 18, 1808 at age 81 years 11 months. Married Clara?, she was born 1743. She died at Nordeck, Germany February 4, 1817 at age 73 years, 10 months, 14 days. Johannes was a court usher." I don't know where she got this info, but am assuming it was from their death certificate or tombstone.
"1. Victor Pfaff (son of Johannes) was a forest ranger. Born ?. Died ?, Married August 11, 1789 at Nordeck Germany to anna Catherina Formhals, born ?." She doesn't give any sources for any of this info.
"A. Johannes Pfaff (son of Victor) also my grandfather (Viola Auch). Johannes was a forest ranger, born January 14,1798 at Nordeck, Germany, died before 1859, married at Nordeck, Germany on April 23, 1830 to Catherine Wisker (my Great-Grandmother--Viola Auch). She was born June 11, 1800. Catherine died June 29, 1859 at age 59 years, 18 days, at Nordeck, Germany." This is the parents of Katherina, Elizabeth(1839-1839), Louise and Anna. That is the info on the Pfaff's I am enclosing the info that she has on the Wiskers (is this the correct spelling). By the way where is Nordeck, Germany and Wehrshausen, Germany
"I. Conrad Wiskers
Conrad Wiskers was born ?, at house number 72 at Wehrshausen, Germany."
"1. Matthaus Wisker (son of Conrad) was born May 10, 1759 at Schultheilz, Germany, he died April 11, 1839 at 80 years, 11 months. Matthaus married at Nordeck, Germany July 15, 1783 to Anna Catherina Wilhelm." This is the father of the Catherina Wisker that married Johannes Pfaff.

2. Elizabeth Pfaff
Born June 5, 1839, died June 1839
3. Katherina Pfaff (my grandmother--Viola Auch)
Born June 27, 1840 at Wehrshausen, Germany
4. Louise Pfaff
Born December 2, 1843 at Wehrshausen, Germany
Katherina and two of her sisters came to the USA about 1856 or 1857 with their uncle and settled in New York state.
Pfaff means one who performed Sacramental functions, a Priest."
'Katherina married Jacob Betz on April 23, 1861 at Redwood, NY' 'She died March 7, 1927 in Scotland, South Dakota.'
