Ada is my aunt! Her brother, Robert gave me the book that I have. I know he did alot of the research. He gave it to us for a Christmas present one year. The only information I have on Thomas Bettis is he was born in Suffolk, UK around 1676. His wife, Avice Byrd was born ca 1680. There 4 children were Thomas, Francis, William and John Bettis who was born 1707 and died April 1796. Thomas' father was William Bettis who was born Wortham Hall, Suffolk, UK 1650. William died 1709 Yoxford, Suffolk, UK. He married Dorothy Mann. Dorothy was born 1653 and died 1732. The only child I have a record of is Thomas.
