The Sentinel, Cheney, Washington Territory, Friday, Feb. 17, 1888.
Mr. John Bettinger is now the proudest man in the country. Because why? Because it's a boy that was born Thursday afternoon, and he weighs nine pounds too.
Jacob Bettinger has 110 head of good cattle for sale, also ten head of horses, six head of fine brood sows, wagons, movers, plows, harrows, hay rakes and all other implements ever needed on a farm.
I'm not related to this family.
