I am a descendent of the Bettin Family and have gone back to Anna Elizabeth Bettin b. 22 Mar 1822 in a village near Bromberg. It looks like Lortrowo, but I'm not sure about the rtr. I'm trying to figure out the name of the village. Her parents were Johann Bettin and Anna Liemke. She m. Martin Gussman and had children Justine, Paulina, August, Anna & Emilie. Some of the children immigrated to Starke County, IN. Does anyone relate to them?
