Joyce; My Ida was born in Dec. 1877. She had a twin named Mary Bettin Hoffmeyer. I am sure because of the age they would have been when August migrated to the states in 1882 that they would have come with the family. Ida married Rasmus Thompson and they lived in Ia. When Mary died in 1967 Ida was living just down the street from her in Spirit Lake Ia. Thats about all I know at this time , but bits and pieces of information keep drifting in.
