Hi Roxanna,
Are you related to Nathaniel Bettes ? One of his descendant's, Silas Bettes Moore, born 29 March 1824, died 14 March 1890, buried at Bettes Corners, married Mary Jane Edney, a sister of my ancestor, Julia Louisa Edney, who married James Madison Moore, born 28 March 1823. I would like to find out if Silas Bettes Moore and James Madison Moore were related. If they were, then I may be related to Nathaniel Bettes.
