Joseph's name was changed to jos flores upon arrival at age of around 16 he lived in lower mainland for short time then moved to boston bar, At November 30, 1886 he married Marguerite Kwitkwitlinak in Kamloops, bc

Not sure if we have a match but appears to be. My great great grandfather came from flores in azores islands (My grandfather said the priest named him because he came from the flores islands, exact reason unknown of why they changed it)
