Buck talkes about Maria Rodriguez. Her husband died on the way to Texas. She married Ignacio de Armas in San Antonio. She was a Bethencourt from the Canary Islands - at least this is what she claimes, based on the book. I am also checking into Bethencourt and various spelling, Padron, de Armas, de Urrutia.
