My uncle John(Jack)Bettencourt (bn 1904 d.1938)was married abt 1925 to Elsie Silva (possible name).He died in Santa Clara county(San Jose).I don't know if they had children as I don't have any relatives to ask, except an aunt married to another uncle in 1945 that thinks she remembers there being 2 Elsie's in the family but not sure abt Silva. They are the only John & Elsie that could match (Ancestry.com)but can't find a marriage record to confirm. Any help on this brick wall would be greatly appreciated.
