I am doing some research for my mother-in-law on her father's family. Her father was Joseph Espinola Veiga. He was born in Lowell, MA. He has an older brother named Orlando Espinola Veiga who married an Adeline Bettencourt (she may have actually been a Maria Adeline)born 1901 in Graciosa. Adeline's parents were Joao Espinola Bettencourt and Laurentina (spelling?) Gil. Any connection?
