Hi. I have a 'John Bethune' in my ancestry. My ggmother is Catharine Bethune, b 2 NOV 1837, Ceres,Fife. Her siblings are Janet(1840)Ceres, William(1842)Largo, James(1844) Largo, Robert (1847)Abbotshall, & Margaret (1851) Cameron.
Their parents are: John Bethune (1816)Cameron,Fife marries Margaret Blair(b abt 1820)Largo,Fife, 2 DEC 1837, in Largo.
I have been having problems finding John Bethune's parents: I think they are William Bethune & Janet Skinner. Any help? Bruce.
