Our circle has about the same information still except that we've found that ALEXANDER WASHINGTON SMITH'S parents were WILLIAM SMITH 11 Sep 1872 North Carolina, d 1874 Rutherford Co., TN married 28 Jan 1806 in ? to MARY BARFIELD b 26 April 1784, d 1851 probably in TN.
I have 11 children listed for them:

BENJAMIN Franklin Smith b 17 Feb 1815 TN
MARY Florida Smith 18 May 1816 TN d 17 Feb 1892 Springtown, Parker Co., TX/married John Chappell 5 Aug 1837 Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., TN. (((I have 11 children listed for them and at least 5 of them did not reach adulthood. At least three of the Chappell children lived in Oklahoma, James, Andrew Johnson and Sarah Polk Chappell. John Patterson Chappell, anothr son, died 1922 in Hindsvill, Arkansas about 80 years of age.)))

ROBERT Granville Smith 19 Aug 1819 Nashville, Davidson Co., TN d 19 Nov 1901 Central, Texas age 82 and according to what I have, married another Smith--America Novaline Smith, daughter of O. B Smith and Elizabeth Letterman.
ROBERT moved to Texas; I have 4 children listed for them, all born in Tennessee around Davidson County. EDWIN Alexander Smith, one of the boys, died in Abilene, Texas 30 March, 1926. He was married to Dulcenia John GREGORY 2 May 1866 in Fayetteville, Fayette Co., TX. and one of the girls, Emma Caroline died in Austin, Texas 31 Jul 1928. She married STEPHEN JARMON 18 Jan 1866 in LaGrange, Texas.
LUCY Jane Smith is the last child I have b 18 Feb 1821 in TN.
Maybe some of these descendants will happen onto these messages and help us on our missing information.
