I am hoping to find further information on my Bethell family.
Oldes info as I presently have it:
Edward William Bethell, born early 1800's, Occupation: Carpenter (source son's marriage certificate).
Son Thomas James Bethell (known as James), born about 1851, married 14 Nov. 1875 at St. Matthias Church, Parish of Poplar, Middlesex to Harriet Ann (Annie) Thomas (born about 1861, New Cross, Kent).
Thomas James occupation was bricklayer.
Residence:
1875 - Grove Street, Poplar, Middlesex
1882 - Reginald Place, St. Paul, Deptford
1886 - Foxberry Road, Greenwich
1916 - Cold Bath Road, Greenwich.
Children:
Amelia Elizabeth - born 1877, Deptford, Kent
Henry Thomas - 25 Oct 1880, Deptford, Kent
Edward William - 28 March 1882, St. Paul, Deptford
Albert Ernest - 1884, Deptford
Walter Charles George - 18 Sept 1886, St. Paul's, Deptford, Greenwich
John Frederick (Jack) 1889
Daisy
Leonard
Mildred
There were apparently 9 children by this marriage. Harriet Ann (Annie) the mother died young. Thomas "James" remarried a woman by the name of Louisa.
