My grandmother is Viola Cary Monroe, daughter of John Dudley Cary and Mary Dean Bethea.Mary Dean's father was (John)Goodman Bethea, who married Viola Rabun. Goodman Bethea's father was Joseph Alston Bethea who married(1)Nancy J. Mendenhall and m.(2) Elizabeth Grice. Joseph Alston Bethea's father was Rev. Goodman Bethea who married Charlotte Grice.Rev.Goodman Bethea's father was Jesee Bethea who married Celia Harrelson. Jesee Bethea's father was William Bethea who married Sarah Goodman.William Bethea's father was John Bethea(2nd) who married Ann Goodman. John Bethea(2nd)'s father was John 1st. and I don't know who he married, and that's all I have been able to find. I don't have children and dates, etc. Information that I have was passed on through generations.Does anyone else out there have the same line, and can fill in my missing information?
