I strongly recommend that you buy the complete set. I know that they are a little on the exspensive side but, there is additional Bethea information in the other books.Example; Vol I Harllee section, pages 916 through 931, Parker Bethea and Elizabeth Harllee marriage. This section also has a few Bethea pictures. I also found the pages 500 - 504 of Volume I, very interesting, which refer to slavery and the war. These books are a fantastic referance for early American History for the regions involed. And to truely understand the Bethea Family (or any other Family in Kinfolks)you need to also understand the Families around them. For what the books have given me back they are well worth the price. That's my 2 cents worth.
