I know there are errors in info relating to my close family and I have noticed a few others that just don't make sense, i.e. parents married many years after birth of children or children older than parents, etc.
Cousin Mary Belle did the best she could, but she had to list "raw data" since much of the cross reference work was still to be done by later generations. There are, I am sure, errors in the Sellers book and I know there are errors in Kinfolks.

Remember all they had was typewritten or hand written group records, looseleaf notes, etc. gathered through the years from people who were sending queries. You know how hard it is to get every detail right with a computer and databases. Think how hard it was with letters that went unanswered for weeks and months.

I give her a lot of credit for going on with the raw data. Many of us would still be trying to figure out who Buck Swamp John and Devil John were.

The more I see the response on this page the more excited I get. If you have specific questions, let's dig out the answers.
