You are probably looking for Jonathan Rogers. He was born c. 1985 to Lot Rogers,b.
09/12/1755 & d. 04/02/1829 and Anna Bethea,b.
09/06/1755,d.1845. They are documented in Harllee's "Kinfolks" p. 2163. He served in the War of 1812, and then droped out of the records. He nor his descendents are listed in Lot's will dated 1829. His brother, Timothy Erasmus named his son John Bethea Rogers (my line). Maybe this will help.
