That set of books, KINFOLKS, is in lots of libraries. It's really expensive to buy, but you can still find it.I saw it on Bibliosearch recently. There are four volumes, the last being an index and very few can understand the index. It's better to get the 'ANCESTRAL KEY TO THE PEE DEE' by a Mrs. Bethea who used to be a librarian in Dillon. She references all of the better known books on Dillon and Marion Counties in the book, and it's far more understandable. But check your library. It's quite possible they have a copy.
Actually, my g-grandmother was the Margaret Rogers of whom most of the books say only 'she went west.'She was daughter of Timothy Rogers and Sarah Bethea - and they were descended from both the 'Swamp' sets of Betheas.
