never knew this side of the family and have been hunting for many years. Any info on the line of family in TN around Roane Cty. Grandfather Lester Best. Grandmorhter Maude Zella Kendall. Father's name is Kenneth Lester Best Sr. Born September 23, 1932, Brother's Names were Alan, jim, Wayne, Carl, sister's Marie, Juanita and Lula. There were more but I don't know thier names.
Daddy died in Arkansas, September 15th,1998. My brother Kenneth Jr. dies March 14, 2005 in Richmond, VA. he was born 2/7/1956. My sister Patricia Yvonne (Best) Kennedy. born 12/02/1954, died March 12, 2009. her oldest Richard Thomas Talley Born June 27th, 1975. died Sept. 16, 1975.
My sisters Mary Blanton Best Joseph (11/24/58) and Betty Kendall Best Chandler (3/13/60) live in Richmond VA. I am Susan Camille Best (Imes-)Dagenhart (12/15/56) live in Bradenton FL.
My mother's name is Susanne Dagenhart Freeman and she also lives in Richmond along with I believe maybe some of his brothers' children also live there.
I know that half of them spelled thier names Bess and the other half Best
I have very little info on my father and one or two pictures. His wife at the time of his death was Linda Cornice, She and her family have everything of my father and have offered nothing. They were afraid we might get something I guess. It was a rough funeral.
Anyone that can offer info it is much welcomed and appreciated. I want to know more about my father. My children need to know about thier family tree.
