A branch of the Anthony Besse family ca.1635 Sandwich MA USA extended into Maine for several geenerations and a branch of this branch moved to New Brunswick then to Ontario. Reuben is a commonly occuring given name.
I have a fair amount of info - also a fair number of gaps in the Ontario family of 19th century - if interested, pls e-mail me. Tks.
