I am interested in your research about this family. Have seen references to the BESSEY - HUNTER marriage; have not seen the alternative you cite. I am researching Anthony and Jane BESSEY and their dau., Dorcas. Another BESSEY researcher provided confirmation of Dorcas' relationship by her father's will. At the time Anthony's will was written, wife Jane was apparently pregnant. I have not researched dau. Rebecca. From that which I have read, I believe she is the unborn child called out in Anthony's will. As I understand, after Anthony BESSEY's death, Jane remarried to George Barlow said 1658 at Sandwich.
