Samuel Bessey born in VT. in 1815, moved to Michigan and married Harriet Huntington there. He was a Methodist minister. I am seeking his parentage.
The most likely possibilities are James b ) 1783 in VT. and m)1805, wife Colonia; Holmes b) 1785 in VT. and m) 1809, wife Nancy; Anthony b)1787 in VT, and m) wife Sarah; Cyrus b) 1779 in VT., and m)1810, wife Sally:and Ira b)1786 in VT., and m) by 1815,wife Judith.

My search at the VT. Archives turned up no clue.
Perhaps, a MI record of Samuel's ministerial career may turn up. Hopefully, JON
