Aime Bessette
FALL RIVER -- Aime Bessette, 77, died Monday May 19, 1997, at Rose Hawthorne Lathrop Home. He was the husband of Doris (Richotte) Bessette and the son of the late Moise and Florida (Caron) Bessette.
Born in Fall River, he was a life long resident. He was a communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Church.
He was employed by the Parker A Division of Berkshire Hathaway, Made Rite Potato Chip Co. and Frito Lay until he retired in 1981.
He was a Merchant Marine veteran of the World War II and a member of the Liberal Fishing Club.
He was the brother of the late Anita Lapre and Ovila Bessette.
Survivors include his widow; a son, Nelson J. "Buz" Bessette of Fall River; a granddaughter, Amanda Rose Bessette of Fall River; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Stafford Road.
