Hello, I am looking for a connection to my ancestors. I have seen many variations but told Bissette was most likely correct, but seen Besset on church records. Charles Besset father and Louise Henry mother of Anathalie / Natalie / Sarah Besset born in Canada. Moved to VT about 1840. Son Onesime born abt 7/ 31/ 1851 with sponsors Michel Lacroix and Onesime Besset. Tetreau connection - Natalie Besset married Moise Tetreau / Tetreault / Tatro in St Joseph's church, Burlington Vt abt 1841. If any sounds familiar, would love to try and make a connection.
