Looking for children of Charles Bessette whom married Theresa Arcand on August 3 1819 in Boucherville Quebec. They had two Known children: Selina Bessette b abt 1819 Canada whom married a Unknown Miner and Louis-Joseph Bessette b 1833-1836 poss: Boucherville, Quebec. (Son Louis said he was son of Charles and Theresa Arcand on his second marriage on july 17 1900 St Joseph Church Burlington Vt. He was the widower of Marie Lacroix/Cross.
This Charles and Theresa show is the 1850 Census of Colchester Vt with son Louis.. (Selina Bessette Miner and widowed listed as sister to Louis-Joseph Bessette in one census of Colchester.)
Did this couple possibly have a daughter Lucy/Lucie Bessette b 1822 Canada. Lucy Bessette married Louis Seymour bef 1843 Unknown location (aka: Louis Diette/Guyette/Simard) Lucy was living next door to this Charles and Theresa in 1850..
Lucy Bessette and Louis Seymour lived out their lives in Colchester Vt. Louis Seymour died in 1901 and Lucy in 1908 and are buried in Old Mt Calvary Cemetery in Burlington Vt.
Any help with more children of Charles and Theresa would be appreciated.
