Hello everyone. Need some help with a connection. Although my name is spelled Bissette, it was changed from the "e" to "i" from my grandfather.
My great great grandfather is Francis(Frans) Bessette b.1832 Quebec. He married Odette(Adelle) Lamaesse in Quebec. They moved to Lindsay, Ontario around 1868.Had 9 children in total.
I was told from my father as well as other family members that he was a cousin to Brother Andre(Alfred Bessette). Unfortunately, all have passed on and I never asked questions about the connection. I believe that Francis was the son of one of the children from Joseph Bessette and Angelique Georges m.1803.
Anyone know of a Francis that was a grandson to Joseph and Angelique ???
