Hello David,
I haven't been on the Bessette community board for a long time and just noticed your request for information. We are related. I don't know at which point below Claude and Anne we are but we certainly are. By the way, the correct name for Claude's wife is Marie Anne rather than Anne Marie. The reason is this is how the Catholic faith has always baptized its flock: Marie Suzanne, Marie Josephte, Marie Lise, etc. Just as the males were always named Joseph Michel, Joseph Paul, etc... Why people insist on flipping the names around is unknown except that somewhere along the line some other researchers did it (without realizing they were messing with convention) and the error was picked up and repeated.
I'm sending you an invitation to my family chart on My Heritage so you can check out Marie Anne Bessette's pedigree. You'll also be able to check out the dates and places of birth for her ancestors.
