Hello Robert, when and where was your father born? Your grandfather, Robert A. Bessent II married my grandfather's (Thomas Franklin Brewer) sister, Mary Molly Brewer. Robert and Molly had two daughters, Fannie and Sarah. Have you heard these names? Robert and Molly split up or divorced, I'm guessing around the 1890 to 1895 time period. Molly then married James A. Mathews. Molly died in 1948 and is buried at Coffeyville, Kansas in the Fairview Cemetery. You can find the Bessents and Brewers in 1880 on the Wise County, Texas Census.
