I found the following info this last week and need help.
Abraham Bessant b 1760 to 1814 from the carolinas lived in St. Marys, Canden Co. Ga.
He had children according to the book (Pioneers of Wiergrass Ga) John 1790, Ann 1795, James 1800, Peter G. 1802, Abe jr 1804, Robert 1805, Alexis S. 1806, and Adeline 1807. On the RootsWeb, the same man was found with two other children. Ulysses and Matthew W.1796. My question is, is this Matthew W. the father of Abraham Benjamin 1835? Any help would be appreciated.
