Hi, I have just read your message - I have also been researching the name BESSENT. Bessent was my maiden name. Jesse Bessent was Charles' son, who married Jane Hughes in Swansea. They had a daughter called Lydia who went on to marry James Mundy, they went on to have (what must have been twin girls), Violet and Gladys Mundy in 1901. Would very much like to have more information about your Bessent connection.
