I am a descendant of James Dickson Beshears m. Florence Calloway. He was my Great grandfather.

James Dickson (POW during WWII)(I think he's still living in Winston salem too)

His daughter Elsie Densmore Beshears b.8/8/1909, MeadowView , VA d.11/15/1983 Winston Salem, NC married John Murphy Styles
They had 9 children
Carrie Virginia "Sister"(Not John Murphy Styles daughter)
She was born before they met.

Shirley is my mother. She married Lloyd James Jordan Sr.
And had 7 children.
We were raised mainly in Sanford, NC but lived some in Winston Salem.

Carolyn Winona (Saunders) Sanford
Sharon Joann (Conrad) lives in Clemmons, NC
Sheila Faye (Carter) lives in Moore Co., NC
Tina Marie (Nall) lives in Vass, NC
David Anthony (died when he was a few months old.)
Mary Melissa (Kriglein) lives in Cameron, NC
Shirley has 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 7 great grand children.
If I can help anyone or if you have more info to add e-mail me. I have some recent photos of a family gathering from May 2004 of my brother and sisters and my aunts and uncle Robert's family.
