I am working on the Bescheinen Family with roots in the village of Dülken, now a part of a larger city, Viersen, in the Nord Rhin - Westfalen state of Germany. My Great-Great Grandfather was Mathias Heinrich Bescheinen and he apparently emigrated from Dülken to Loose Creek, Missouri via Baltimore. He has left a large family in Missouri most in Osage or Cole Counties, but there are descendants in Illinois, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Colorado, and Texas as well as Missouri. I would like to correspond with other Bescheinen researchers.
