Looking for Edward Berwick b abt 1843 in England or Scotland. Arrived on the Monterey Peninsula abt 1865. Sent for his fiance, Isabella Richardson and they married abt 1868 in Monterey CA. Edward purchased 120 acres of land in Carmel Valley and established the Berwick Pear Orchards.

I have not found marriage or death records for this couple as yet. I did find a death record for Gustav Berwick b. 15 Nov 1869 and d. 19 Sep 1943 in Monterey CA at age 74. Mother's maiden name not given on death record.

Any information appricated.
