I AM A DIRECT DESENDENT OF THOMAS BERWICK WHOS DAUGHTER SARAH MARRIED MY GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER WILLIAM ATKINS ALL I HAVE ON THOMAS IS THAT HE SERVED MOST OF HIS ARMY LIFE IN BATAVIA (DUTCH EAST INDIES) but died on service 1822 We have always been told that Sarah was either a halfcaste Indian or a full blooded Indian but finding it very HARD TO CONFIRM ANY INFORMATION YOU MAY HAVE WOULD VERY MUCH BE APPRECIATED
