See OBIT from The Seattle Times February 13, 2007 for complete OBIT. Harvey Gerald Berube, 67, of Enumclaw WA died Feb. 6, 2007, after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 7, 1939 in Rolette, N.D., to PHILLIP and ALMA (CASAVANT) BERUBE. He lived in Enumclaw WA for 36 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who spent some of his time aboard the icebreaker U.S.S. Staten Island in Antarctica. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1994 after 36 years of service, the last several years spent as a computer supervisor. He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed "building things", among them a television set, furniture and two "kit car convertible sports cars". After retirement, he loved going back to his farming roots in NORTH DAKOTA each fall to help his brother-in-law and nephew with harvest. He was preceded in death by his sister, Delima Grassel and husband, Jim, brother, Leonel Berube and brother-in-law, Urbain Cote. He is survived by his wife, BONNIE of 41 years; daughters, Brenda Sexton and husband, Jim of Enumclaw and Donna Berube of Buckley, WA; son, Gerald Berube of Orting, WA; sisters, Vivian Cote of Apache Junction, Ariz., Lorette Leonard and husband, Bill of Mountlake Terrace, WA; Julie Lentz and husband, Donald of Perth, N.D., and Jackie Vandal and husband, Bob of Fargo, N.D.; brother, Adrian Berube and wife, Cindy of Fargo, N.D.: sister-in-law, Darlene Berube of Fargo, N.D.; and two grandchildren.
