I am trying to find if there is any "Indian" in the Berube line? My great great grandparents are Raphael Berube and Obeline Berube married Kamarouska 7 Jul 1860. I have been told by my mother Irene Chasse, and she was told by her father Joseph Chasse that we have Indian in us. I am trying to find from which ancestor and what kind of Indian we are. I don't know if it came from my Berube line or another line but would like to find out where. This is a good place to start. Any help appreciated.
