Hi, Marc. I do not have any specific information about Mathilda Berube. However, I have Bérubé ancestors who lived in this area around the same time, but who were born in Van Buren Maine, which is only a short distance away, even though it is across the border. There were also members of the family that lived in Frenchville, Maine. It is possible this is the same family. The family was originally from Rivière Ouelle, in Québec.
