My mother’s name was DELMIA PEPIN (d: March 26, 1923) and she was married to JOSEPH EDWARD BERUBE (b. Nov.14, 1875 and d: September 1939 in Lowell, Mass.) from the Quebec, Canada area. I am not sure where Delima was born. Joseph may have been an immigrant from Canada and only spoke French. In the 1910 US Census they were living in Lowell, Mass with their two children, Joseph and Ida. In his obituary a woman named MARIE CHENAL was mentioned.
Delima Pepin mothers name was IDA PEPIN (d. May 30, 1930 in Lowell, Mass). Delima had two brothers JOSEPH and PETER. There may have been a relative by the name of RODOLPHE E. PEPIN who lived in Lowell, Mass. and was an organist at the St. Joseph Baptiste Church in 1942.
I was born in 1911 in Lowell, Mass. I do believe my father-in-law may have been MEDRIC BERUBE from St. Eleuthere, Quebec, Canada. I also believe MARIE BERUBE, an aunt, was married to a Chouinard from Canada at one time. I have a picture of an aunt Antonia and a Medric Berube.
Thank you for any information you can give me about my parents.
Jeannette Berube-Morel Blanchard
