My mother was a Bertrand from Thurso, Québec.
According to the information I gathered, Jean Bertrand and Marie-Françoise Léger-Larosette had in fact a son Jean-Baptiste who maried Geneviève Chevigny-Durand on 25 July 1768 in Lavaltrie. This is what I have:
