Amable & Anastasie Aucoin Bertrand had a daughter named
Felicite Bertand who married a Francois Gallien on June 16, 1818 in Opelousas, La. Opelousas Church V 1 page 322.
They had 6 children {1} Francois b-Aug. 1, 1819 married a
Mary Reed {2} Felicite b-Feb. 11, 1822 married Leonard Hayes {3} Celestine Francois b- May 19, 1824 married Louise Deshotel {4} Marie Zelia b- Dec. 12, 1826 {5} Lastie b- Feb. 16, 1829 {6} Angelique b- July 27, 1832.
I was wondering if they still hold the Giles Bertrand
Reunion. We live in Opelousas, La. which is about 20 miles from Eunice and we have a daughter who lives in
Abilene, Tx.
