Thomas Jefferson Bertrand, born July 28, 1844 in Scioto Co., Ohio maried Sarah Winnifred Colley, born Nov. 16, 1845 in Greensburg, Scioto Co., Ohio. His brother Chester Perkins Bertrand born 1840 is my gggrandfather. Their parents were John Baptist Bertrand who married Mary Hard. I have information on Thomas' son Chester Perkins Bertrand which says he was born March 17, 1871 in Ironton, Lawrence Co. Ohio. Wife is listed as Maggie. Children are not listed. The next child in his family was born in Sedgwich Co., Kans and his uncle Chester also settled in Kansas.
