sorry i didn't get get back to you sooner but today was a lazy day.
my line to the family is as follows
my father is amos james bolieau jr
my grandfather was amos j bolieau sr
at birth his name was homer noel but changed before baptism
my greatgrandfather was john baptiste bolieau
my great great grandfather was charles bertrand dit beaulieu ( bolieau)
my ggg grandfather was pierre bertrand beaulieu
my gggg grandfather was noel bertrand beaulieu
as i have been working on my tree from peter on down to my family i have over 800 people.
some of the family had good sized families, peter and selinda had 6 children, caharles and zoe 15 children, and amos jr and mary 10 children of which i am the oldest. there are nine of us surviving.
i have a copy of name changes from montreal showing that bertrand was changed to beaulieu in 1737.
i have very little info on amable and his family.
we only found out late last year about the name bertrand dit beaulieu and were surprised to see that charles and zoe when married were listed as bertrand dit beaulieu, it was changed before they came to the us. most of the family seyttled in ct , a few in ma, also some in ca, ut, ar and texas.
if i can give you any info on this side of the family let me know.
my father was born in nh and tthey never went back to ct.
